Since I started working for myself 2 years ago, I knew I had to find a routine that worked for me and got me out of bed in the morning. Working remotely was a way for me to still be around people, get me out shooting on the streets and an excuse to try every coffee shop in Sydney. The buzz is real. Obviously taking things with me everywhere is annoying but keeping it light and in a small package is key. My Jack Spade pouch has been my mobile office over the years and has been treating me well.

The Italian’s say they are born with taste when it comes to food and fashion – this couldn’t be more true. They have a rich history in fashion and it doesn’t seem to be lost on the younger generations. On my travels through Italy these past few years, it was quite evident that a lot of personal style is based off traditional elements, while still adding a modern touch through quality contemporary pieces.

KICK UP YOUR FEET

While I was in Los Angeles earlier this year, I discovered this little record shop on the corner of Melrose and Fairfax Avenue. It’s hard for me to pass up a flick through vinyl but once I walked in, it seemed like it would take days to go through the amazingly huge collection. Instead, I asked the owner to recommend one record for a novice jazz enthusiast. The Jazz Messengers at the Cafe Bohemia, Vol. 2 is that soulful yet energetic jazz music that just puts you in the mood to kick back and the enjoy the ride it takes you on.
