TIMELESS PRINT

One of the few keepsakes I brought with me from Canada when I moved to Australia a few years ago was my collection of TORO magazine. The men’s lifestyle publication was distributed as an insert in The Globe and Mail from 2003 to 2007. During its four year print run, TORO garnered a number of accolades for its vision and style, spurring my love for the printed page and the reason why I became a graphic designer in the first place. 

TORO has been a big influence on the creative vision of MITT magazine in that I strive to create something that is timeless. Now we’ll just have to wait and see…

It’s finally here, MITT issue 3 is now available to order at The MITT Mrkt! To celebrate, we’re offering ALL issues with free shipping worldwide!

The third printed issue of MITT includes twelve new features on man made goods from around the world. Interviews with Felix Chan of New Albion Sports in Sydney, Melbourne based leathersmith Tom Farrah (our cover man), Grey Fox menswear blogger David Evans, foodie Gabriel Cabrera in Mexico and London stylist Glen Campbell. After a wine induced collaboration with Sydney based wine start-up Bootleggers, where we profiled how Australian men are expressing their personal style and taste through fashion and wine, we finally got a chance to celebrate. The stylish Men In This Town readers who registered for a chance to attend, got to sip on a 2008 Dal Forno Romano Amarone della Valpolicella, which retails at $549 a bottle. It was worth every bit. Thanks for everyone who came out and for the men featured over the past few weeks.
