I’m so happy to finally share my sixth book, Dog’s Best Friend, will be available worldwide on 26th August, celebrating of course, International Dog Day! 🐶

This book has been one of my greatest joys to work on since the journey began just over a year ago. To all the beautiful dogs in Tokyo, Kyoto, New York, Toronto, London, Milan, Paris, Melbourne and of course Sydney, who generously let me interrupt their walk, take a photo of them with their human and ask them some questions, I’m forever grateful! 🦴

On my desk

I fell in love with the design of twen when I found scans of the magazine on Tumblr years ago. It was a German magazine published from 1959 to 1971 for the first generation of postwar teens and young adults, with a focus on the blossoming freedoms of the time. This book explores the wonderful work of art director Willy Fleckhaus featuring covers and layouts from the magazine that are now rare to come by. A treasure if there ever was one.
